History
The Tangshan Hot Spring dates back over a millennium, gaining prominence during the Southern Dynasty (420-589) under the Xiao Liang period when it was decreed a royal hot spring. Throughout the dynasties, high-ranking officials, literary scholars, and dignitaries have frequented this location for both leisure and rejuvenation. The emperors during the Southern and Northern Dynasty (386-581) declared it the "Holy Spring," emphasizing its esteemed status.
